What can we say?!! We called Welsh Row our 'Big Brother House'! Enjoyed so much by everyone from Grandma to teen-agers. Pristine, spacious and so well equipped. Loads to do within the property with the hot tub, pool table, football table, Xbox, Wii.... Even a bingo machine which we had fun with on our last night. Paul communicated brilliantly with us beforehand, sent loads of info and recommendations, and gave us a really useful and friendly handover to the property. Was quite close to home for us, but loads to do.... We enjoyed Llangollen, mountain biking in Llandegla forest, an aquapark and Chester zoo. Special mention to the Raven pub in a local village (very Welsh name!)....a community led pub with great food and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Brilliant property for us as an extended family with teen-agers twenty somethings, parents and grandparents. Hoping to come back!

Very close to a busy road but wasn’t noisy and as long as you are vigilant with kids it’s not a huge problem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was exactly as described and perfect for a large group. Lovely location with nice views. The village is cute with a nice shop and cafe. Lots to do within a short drive. We visited Chirk Castle and Llangollen.

It is such a great experience to stay at Paul and Andrea ' s place. you will never get bored to stay for an entire week or play whole day without going out. The game zone keeps you entertain. The kitchen provides with equipments more than your needed. And the hot tub is amazing! I could say it is the best airbnb I have ever been. Will come back for sure. Thanks Paul!

A place you’ll never be bored
We were a party of 6 with age ranges from 13-80 there was something for everyone to do. The owners have thought of every type of game from bingo to pool. You’ll never be bored even if it’s raining. We had fab weather so spent 2 evenings outside in the hot tub and had a bbq one night. A very clean apartment with all the amenities.

What a great place for a family and friends. Has loads to do. Location i only put one less star as it depends on your trip! Its rural but commutable distance to places. Shops a 5min drive to a local village. 8 beds and loads of sofa beds. Xbox and wii. Fussball. Pool. Loads of toys and things like garden jenga and games. Huge table and bar area. We loved the hot tub and outside area as the sun sets over the hill its just lovely. Would stay again 100%

Spent a fantastic long weekend with friends here. The games room and kitchen / living space was brilliant for afternoon & evening entertainment, and with the BBQ and hot tub area we had a great outdoor space to use too. We used the place as a base for exploring Snowdonia and the Llangollen area, which have so much to offer. Hosts were excellent and ensured everything we needed was taken care of. Bedrooms and bathrooms all comfortable and spacious, furnished to a high spec, as is the rest of the property. Would definitely recommend.

This really is a special place to stay. Paul was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the property as soon as we arrived. Welsh Row House didn’t disappoint - very spacious, well equipped and has lots of fun things to do for lots of family fun! The hot tub was also a welcome feature after a long day exploring. Amazing walks right on the doorstep and we also enjoyed kayaking on Bala Lake, which is only half an hour away. We will definitely be back.

Paul was very welcoming. Provided a lot of information that helped our stay in north wales, the accommodation was perfect. So much to do on an evening allowed not only the kids to be entertained but the adults as well. The accommodation is very spacious and clean and I would highly recommend.

This guest house is truly a hidden gem, brilliant for families or adult-only groups alike! We were a group of 5 adults (and a dog), getting away for the end of summer season and to celebrate my birthday- I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect spot. There’s plenty of beautiful walks nearby, loads of activities, the local towns have some fantastic dog friendly pubs and that’s if you even want to leave the house!! Between the hot tub, comfortable living room, TV’s in all the rooms plus Xbox (with games pass) and pool table in the games room, we truly were spoilt for choice and had a lovely relaxing holiday. Paul and Andrea have thought of absolutely everything, and were exceptional hosts. They helped loads with making us feel welcome and finding dog-friendly places for my birthday meal, which means a lot. We’ll definitely be rebooking in the future!

We had a fabulous family time!! We enjoyed the game zone and it was a success with all. There were plenty tv screens for the kids and adults. We spent hours laughing and playing the games. Loved the hot tub!! It was amazing at night. Cottage had everything we needed. We arrived at night and colourful lights made it easy to find it. We went for some lovely walks and short trips. Thanks Paul for the warm welcome, the spotless place and the well designed fun cottage!! Love it!!

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. There was plenty of space for 6 people and 3 dogs. We chose to spend Christmas 🎄 here and it was perfect. Would have liked to stay for longer. The house has plenty of every day items, it turns out we didn't have to take anywhere near as much as we did. We would love to return in the summer to make use of the BBQ area. The hottub was perfect and very relaxing with the added additional features of heating, TV and Bluetooth speakers. Host even washed and posted back some clothes we left behind in our hast of leaving ❤️ Thank you so much Paul and Andrea for making us feel welcome it was perfect.

My name is Loreda and I just wanted to personally write you an email to thank you so much for your hospitality and leave a positive review. I came with my mum Ernesta last Monday to Thursday day.
First of all I just wanted to say that your property is amazing... so unique and beautiful. You really have thought of everything and that doesn't go unnoticed. We really were touched that you left us some groceries, we all said how kind of them. I also loved seeing the history of the place and thought the canvases of various places in Wales was a lovely touch.
The bedroom i slept in with the 3 beds was absolutely gorgeous and whoever designed the inside of your house, they really are talented. The room was so lovely and cool and the beds and bedding were really comfortable.
I loved the hot tub and pool table! I'm also a gamer.. I didn't have much time to game but thought it was awesome!
I am an NHS worker and I've shown my colleagues where we stayed and left one of your business cards in the staff room.
I will also love to come back again!!!
Not only do you have a lovely house but you live in a beautiful place. This is the second time I've been to Wales and it absolutely takes my breath away. I'm half Italian and I also have Spanish family.... I've seen some beautiful Mediterranean beaches ... but Newborough beach in Anglesey is just spectacular. I've been there before, and stumbled upon it accidently. I had to come back.
Anyway, I just thought I would send you an email on my thoughts as we really are still talking about it to everyone.

Fantastic facilities, everything and more. The games room is fabulous, loads of games, board games, books, stuff for the younger kids. Hot tub is amazing with the extra touches of a tele, bluetooth, heater and lights. The Mums loved sitting at the 'bar'. Great party house, very sociable, open plan, we will definitely return.

A lovely place that's great for kids and really good access to some of the best places to visit in Wales. Paul was great from booking to check out and couldn't do enough to make sure we had all we needed (thanks again Paul!). We had a wonderful time and the consoles and pool table, not to mention wood fire helped for the chilly night in! Top Tip: Eco Bee Taxis in Llangollen were also great
We’ve just returned from a 4 night stay and we had a great time! We’re a family of 4; 2 adults and 2 children (ages 13 & 10) and the real highlight of the holiday was the games room, with Xbox, Nintendo wii, pool table, table top football, bingo, giant Jenga, the list goes on!! The hot tub was a bonus! We all loved a chill in there, playing our music through the Bluetooth speakers or watching tv, what a great set up! The hot tub was checked over every day too which was great! Paul and Andrea the hosts were great, always there if you needed to contact them. Just be aware that the accommodation is located on a very busy road so if you have small children or are thinking of bringing dogs, just bear this in mind. All in all a great holiday let for a holiday in Wales!

We throughly enjoyed our time here. The house is huge, spacious and has so many activities you will struggle to be bored. The football and pool tables were used all day every day. The outside area is also nice and spacious with good views. Paul was a great host who provided us with detailed information on the area and things to do. We didn't make use of this due to wanting to just relax but their website has everything on it. The pictures are so accurate that I almost didn't need a tour when I arrived but it again was a nice touch. Thank you for having us.

We booked from Friday to Monday at Paul's place, the pictures really don't do any justification... as soon as each person walked in each of us said "Wow" it really is beautiful the children had so much to keep them occupied I loved how we was all on one level but not on top of one another. The games room was a massive hit with the children (and adults)!! the beds are comfy and its lovely and clean. Julie the cleaner is lovely and was always on hand Paul & Andrea were fantastic and nothing was to much for them we will definitely be back one of the best places we've stayed and we've stayed at many! Thanks again!!

We were welcomed by Paul who went out of his way to make us feel at home and comfortable. He has been In contact with us beforehand to provide some guidance which was helpful..The house is well stocked with everything that we would need and then some more! Little thoughtful touches such as some nice coffee for us to make, cakes and even some wine made us feel well looked after. A great BBQ and log fire were fun to use. Great location for trips to Llangollen and Horseshoe Falls. We finally managed to drag the teenagers away from the Xboxes and pool table and we had a great time fishing locally too. The one that got away was massive!! We had everything that we could and would need around the place. Highly recommend a stay here.

It’s exactly as it’s advertised. It works so well, you’re not on top of each other. Enough on hand to keep everyone occupied. The games room is a great addition. The bathrooms are great. For a large family or group you can have a great time with no need to go out. You’ll find everything you need here. Paul is on hand . My family. Have just spent our 1st Christmas away together here & it was amazing.

Paul and Andrea are super hosts, always maintained good communication before the trip and ensured that our check in was personally handled. He has invested a great deal of attention in renovating it to holiday standard. Kid and childlike adults remained hooked to the Games room. The open plan living dining and kitchen were great for all friends to have a laugh. We all had a good time with friends and family. The garden has a picture perfect view of the countryside and good for barbeque and drinks.. Thank you Paul and Andrea for the lovely days spent at the accommodation.

This fantastic property exceeded all our expectations. Everything you can imagine had been thought of. You can just turn up and will have the best time. Very spacious and can easily accommodate 12people. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

The house is kept to an immaculate condition. It is very clean and Paul takes the time to welcome you and show you around the property. The welcome pack is a nice and thoughtful touch when arriving. The games room kept the children throughly entertained all weekend and they didn't want to leave ! I would definitely recommend staying here for a short break as there are lots of attractions and things to do for families nearby.

This property is amazing and it provides everything anyone would wish for. The facilities are fantastic and the games room, Xbox, Wiii, and the wide range of other games and toys kept us all occupied throughout our stay. We had a brilliant traditional Christmas and the real log fire was a real treat. There is loads of room in the property and the photographs don’t do it justice. We were amazed at how much space we all had to enjoy our time together. It was such a treat and I would recommend this property to anyone. It was truly fantastic. Thank you Paul for being such a wonderful host.
